Jennifer Aniston Freezes Her Eggs!

Celebrating in Vancouver with costars from her latest project, Traveling, Jennifer tried to laugh off the fact that she was just one year away from the big 4-0. Her feelings were a mixture of hope and dread however, she has found a way to come to terms with aging – by putting her eggs on ice.

The famous, rich and beautiful, 39-year old star buys time and eases the pressure to fulfill her dream of starting family. Jennifer can now pretty realistically have her first child at 45 if she wants. According to David Adamson, M.D., president of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, says the age limit to implant the frozen eggs is 50. Oocyte cryopreservation is the scientific term for freezing eggs. The price is around $15,000 per cycle. Doctors recommend women to do it before they turn 40.

Jennifer is known to be a homebody and not a workaholic, which is a very good quality when it comes to having children. She is in such good shape that she’d have no problem chasing around a tot in her late 40s. She has loads of energy. She also has enough money to hire as many nannies as she wishes.

Jennifer is pleased to have the extra time to decide. Having children is something she stresses about. Whether she wants kids or not is something she always goes back and forth on. At times she thinks it’s the greatest idea and her destiny. Ideally, she would like to have a couple of children. Jennifer would love to have a daughter. She can’t wait to put her in dresses and play with her hair.

Many of Jennifer’s friends already have kids. In fact, Courtney Cox gave birth to a little girl, Jennifer’s goddaughter, who was conceived through in vitro fertilization. Sheryl Crow is the perfect example of inspiration to become a single mom. She has turned Jennifer on to the idea of adoption. However, in her heart Jennifer would like to have a child of her own.
At the moment Jennifer is still shooting Traveling, and is soon to begin working on the film Marley & Me. It could be quite a while before Jennifer finds some downtime and start searching for Mr. Right and the idea of having kids.
